For over 35 years, we have specialized in providing assistance with the activities of daily living for the elderly of Paragould and Greene County. Our team works 24 hours a day to provide not only assistance to the individual but also to provide peace of mind to their family and friends.

Each person's needs are different and our customized approach, tailored to individual needs, allows us to provide the maximum amount of care necessary while still maintaining independence and personal dignity.

Sunshine Manor Retirement Home is a family owned and operated facility that has provided assisted living to the elderly of Paragould and Greene County since 1983.  We offer a homelike atmosphere where individuals can receive help when they need it without sacrificing their independence.  Sunshine Manor’s 24 hour certified staff provides three balanced meals per day plus housekeeping and laundry, supervision of medications, assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and all activities of daily living, as well as scheduled activities, transportation to local doctors, beauty shop services, and many more.  We have private studio rooms as well as two room suites.  And all services at Sunshine Manor are covered in one low, daily rate.

Meals & Snacks

Sunshine Manor provides three meals per day plus snacks!

Meals are served at 7 am; 12 noon; & 5 pm

Snacks are served at 10 am; 3 pm; & 7 pm

Coffee, Tea, Water, Milk and Juice are available at each meal.

Our residents are always welcome to have visitors join them for meals.

We offer always-available alternative meals. Making personal choices is important for independent living!

Services

Sunshine Manor Retirement Home offers a wide variety of services to allow each person to receive just the care they need and still maintain as much independence and dignity as possible.

We offer:

Housekeeping and laundry services,

Personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, and dressing as needed,

Assistance with medications,

Beauty and barber services

Transportation arrangements to local doctor's appointments. 

We also provide all bath and bed linens, cable TV, and wireless internet.

All services are provided by a certified and caring staff 24 hours a day.  Someone is always close at hand.

Activities

Sunshine Manor Retirement Home offers daily activities on a monthly schedule. In-house movie nights, visits from church groups and school children and daily group exercises are just the beginning to keep our residents social and active!

Facilities & Rates

Sunshine Manor provides all services on a short term or long-term basis.  Short term may be for a family vacation, a caregiver weekend away, or simply a needed day off.  Long term can be for a month, a year, or even longer.  We have a plan that will work for you.

Sunshine Manor Retirement Home has three monthly rates.  These are all-inclusive rates.  Don't be fooled because many places have add-on charges such as bathing, daily housekeeping, or a pay per service or meal system.  Not Sunshine Manor.  Everything we do is included in one price!

Financial assistance programs available through Arkansas Medicaid and the VA.

Studio Room that shares a bathroom with one other room - $2700.00 per month.

Studio Room that has a private bathroom - $3000.00 per month.

Two-Room Suite or Combo - $3500.00 per month.

There is no extra charge for a spouse in a two-room suite or combo.

There is no lease or long-term commitment. 

All services are provided on a 24 hour basis regardless of what room is chosen for one flat monthly rate.

Check around and you'll find that our rates are the lowest in our area (that includes Arkansas and Missouri).

Join us in celebrating our incredible Employee of the Month for August, Brandy!

Bj won the vote from leadership this month, and it is easy to see why. Over the last two months, she has gone above and beyond in every possible way to support our community and our team.

Just look at what she has accomplished recently:

Growth: She successfully moved in 10 new residents over the last two months!

Professional Growth: She officially earned her Administrator’s License!

Teamwork: When we were short-handed, she stepped right into the kitchen to work as our part-time cook.

Dedication: On top of all this, she managed her regular daily job, stayed on call, and always went the extra mile.

Congratulations to Ginger Wimberley for earning Employee of the Month for July!

Ginger has been a dedicated member of the Sunshine team for 6 years, and in that time she has truly become our right‑hand woman. As a daytime supervisor, she wears many hats — jumping in wherever she’s needed, from office work to the kitchen, and even back out on the floor. Her dependability and willingness to do it all make her an absolute standout.

Outside of work, Ginger is a proud mom to one son and a loving Gigi to her three grandbabies. She enjoys her small farm life with her ducks and chickens, bringing that same nurturing spirit to everything she does.

Ginger, thank you for your hard work, your flexibility, and your unwavering reliability. Your efforts never go unnoticed, and we are so grateful to have you on our team.
